A MASSIVE SUCCESS FOR ATLANTIC PUMPS!
Despite the somewhat inclement weather, we’re delighted to report that Hillhead 2016 was as a massive success for Atlantic Pumps.
It was great to see so many friends and meet a wealth of new clients keen to learn more about our pump range and how we can help them save money.
The biennial three day event, which took place at Hillhead Quarry in Derbyshire, is the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world with more than 17,000 industry visitors from across the quarrying, construction and recycling sectors.
Sales Coordinator Nathan Rowles spoke for a tired but thoroughly delighted team on Friday when posting on LinkedIn. “Thanks to everyone that came on the Atlantic Pumps stand at Hillhead. Absolutely excellent show with brilliant results! We trust everyone that came on our stand enjoyed themselves!” (sic).
Visitors to stand A4 were immediately met by an unusual sight - a converted 4-tonne Layland army truck (above). It certainly became something of a talking point at Hillhead with guests also commenting about it on LinkedIn.
Resplendent in Atlantic Pump colours, the trucks fold-down side had been adapted to incorporate a staircase which lead visitors onto the back of the truck where we could discuss their pumping requirements with them. The trucks canopy was also a great shelter from the rain we encountered on Wednesday!
Our food and chosen ale - appropriately called ‘Atlantic’ - were well received by guests who were able to tour the stand and view pumps from a range of manufacturers including Audex, SlurryPro, Mono, Lowara and Varisco.
In addition we showcased an exploded 6x4 Slurrypro pump, demonstrated our recently launched industry-leading tool, The Pump Register and our new online shop. Guests also had the first opportunity to browse and order a copy of our much talked about 80-page 2016 Pump Book and pick ups a limited edition SlurryPro USB pen drive. Energy drinks were also available - the can cleverly designed in the style of an Audex pump.
Visitors to Hillhead on Wednesday may also have noticed filming taking place on our stand – watch out for major news on this in the coming weeks on our LinkedIn page. Why not follow us and be amongst the first to find out?
