AODD Pumps

Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps are powered by compressed air, which can be generated at a safe distance from the pump. This makes them ideal for areas where electricity (or engine fuel and fumes) is restricted, such as hazardous areas; ATEX-rated AODD pumps are widely available. Unlike fixed motor-to-shaft pumps, the compressed air drive helps extend the pump’s useful life, and they can even be submerged (to the extent of their air vent). Other advantages include dry-running tolerance, easy CIP (Clean In Place), self-sealing, non-leaking, and self-priming ability.
