Cross Plant Hire Incorporate Audex Pumps in New Wheelwash System
Removal of mud and debris from a vehicles wheels involves a purpose-designed arrangement of nozzles spraying the dirt off.
The process utilises a powerful pump to achieve the required pressure and flow, with the required water recycled from other operations or from the wheel wash itself.
A solution is also required for the resulting sludge collected; usually a settlement tank is used to remove the heavier debris before re-using this water.

The pump is a reliable and affordable heavy-duty submersible slurry pump which is often used on quarries and in recycling plants.
It is fitted with a high chrome impeller and wear plates for increased lifetime and an inbuilt agitator which reduces silt settlement in the pump location, plus prevents clogging in the pump when handling solids-laden fluids.
