We’re delighted to announce the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as our company charity of choice.

Now in its 60th year, Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK’s leading charity supporting people with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Atlantic will be working with the CF Trust to help raise awareness and funds through a number of fundraising events and activities.

Yesterday saw Catherine Bench, Cystic Fibrosis Trust Philanthropy Manager join us during our All Staff Meeting to speak about the condition and superb work that the charity does.

Operations Director Ed Smith, whose children (pictured) both have cystic fibrosis said, “I’m very pleased to hear the CF Trust has been selected as Atlantic’s charity of choice.

“They do an excellent job in support of the whole CF community and have played a large role in convincing the government to fund Kaftrio, a life changing drug which both of our children have benefitted hugely from.”
