Our Journey
David Smith starts out
1966
David Smith started a wholesale stationery business in Sheffield trading under the name of Kingsbury Press. Later traded as Kingfield until being bought out in 1976.
Global Pumps
1977
Global Pumps was established trading in Adelaide, Australia, providing industrial pump solutions.
Kingsbury
1983
Kingsbury was sold.
All Pumps is born
2004
All Pumps Argentina was born, started by Brad Dormer, focusing on industrial pumps in the Buenos Aires Province.
Market expansion
2009
All Pumps and Global Pumps collaborating on manufacturing slurry pumps and began broadening market geography.
Atlantic pumps is born
2012
Brad Dormer and Andy Smith started Atlantic Pumps in the UK, leveraging business and technical experience to create a customer focused abrasive pump manufacturer supplying the aggregate sector. Main pumps supplied were our SlurryPro and Audex pumps.
Atlantic Pumps new offices
2017
Atlantic Pumps expanded the business by moving from Sheffield, Yorkshire to new offices in Staveley in Derbyshire.
Envirohub concept was born.
2020
Atlantic Pumps acquired 1.5 acre site in Sheepbridge, Chesterfield and developed it into a modern manufacturing facility.
Peveril Machinery is acquired
2023
Atlantic Pumps acquired Peveril Machinery, expanding services into dry and bulk storage solutions.
